The International Peace Conference, in its seventh edition, will present the theme “Vox Populi” through which it will explore the idea of peace in action.
Open a newspaper, talk to your neighbour, log into social media; it’s all the same. Conflicts. Crises. Issues. We are born in a world that every previous generation has tried to change, and today, we find ourselves in the same position. Sometimes, in the face of our challenges, our responsibility for peace and justice seems like a burden. Our reality remains so far from the ideals that we strive to see. What actions are we taking? We learn, we protest, we seek platforms through which our voices can be heard. But do our words have an impact?
The exploration of this question will allow the participants to understand the ways in which youth is engaging in peace building. Furthermore, it will challenge them to reflect on the consequences of those actions and the importance of the voice of the people in our society. Let your voice be heard.
